Physical CD

My latest album. This is me getting a bit more melodic, wanting to write songs that other artists may be interested in recording. This is the only record I have made without using a band. I went into Doug Weaver’s studio and recorded most of the songs live, just me and a guitar. Doug then added string and brass arrangements over the top. And we both added extra guitar and vocal parts. It’s a fairly raw and honest approach and I think it works. We left one of the songs, Sometimes Fish, with just me and the guitar as it seemed right as it was. Of course, I had never heard the songs myself until I recorded them, and it was sometimes quite an emotional experience.
